Darryl has close to 30 years of financial services experience. Prior to joining Ergawealth Advisors in 2014, Darryl worked in different roles with some of our nation’s most well-respected financial institutions including JPMorgan Chase Investments, CitiStreet and Fidelity Investments.
Darryl’s prides himself in providing his clients with tailored financial solutions to help them protect, grow and transfer their wealth over all life stages. From start to finish, Darryl is committed in forming a positive working relationship built on excellent customer service, accountability, integrity, and the highest form of trust. Darryl works closely with all his clients and their families, which comprise of corporate professionals, NFL players (active and retired), and small business owners.
Darryl started his career in the financial industry as a courier for Gulf Federal Savings & Loan in Metairie, LA. He worked for various banking and investment organization but secured his first securities registration in 1993 with American Federal Savings & Loan in Dallas, TX. Darryl served as a Licensed Personal Banker and Assistant Branch Manager with a focus on becoming a Registered Representative. In 2000 that dream was realized when Darryl accepted a Registered Representative position with Chase Investments. In 2005, Darryl became an Independent Registered Representative where he was CEO of Wisdom Global Wealth Management, Inc.
Darryl is a native of New Orleans, LA and now resides in North Texas with his wife, Dr. Paula Turner-Simpson. A man of faith, he currently serves as a Deacon at Antioch Christian Fellowship of Corinth, TX under the guidance of Pastor Christopher J. Respass. Darryl is driven by his love for is family and his devotion in helping today’s youth utilize all their gifts and talents to realize their full potential in society and in the eyes of god. Darryl also serves as Executive Director of The Fairman-Adams Project, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to aid those diagnosed with breast cancer.
